An exciting and meaningful LinkedIn profile is more likely to attract potential clients than one that is only half-heartedly maintained. Many videos show how to improve your LinkedIn profile. However, it also takes a lot of time to find these videos, watch them and then implement the suggestions.

Here’s a list of ten tips that are easy and quick to implement:

Tip 1: Profile Photo: Make your profile more personal and upload a photo. To do this, click on Profile Photo. Use a portrait photo and a monochrome background that matches the color of the background image. There are several tools you can use to remove and colorize the background easily. One I like to use is removebg. The ideal profile picture size is 400 x 400 pixels.

Tip 2: Background Image: Choose an image that emphasizes the services and products you offer. You can change the background image by clicking on the pencil icon on the right.
Color match it with your photo. Don’t just take a stock photo, but customize it to fit your brand. That can be through your logo, texts (your values, slogan), or other elements. LinkedIn recommends a picture that is 1584 x 396 pixels. You can upload it as a JPG, GIF, or PNG.
